NOTICE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS AND PUBLICATION OF UNAUDITED ANNUAL GOVERNANCE & ACCOUNTABILITY RETURN 2024/25

Parish and Town Councils must publish an Annual Return that includes a summary of their income and expenditure; its assets and other balances. They also have to complete an Annual Governance statement setting out the arrangements they have in place to ensure that the council and its business is properly managed.

Each year those documents have to be reviewed by the appointed external auditor. Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the accounting records for the financial year to which the audit relates and all documents relating to those accounts must be made available.
