There was a lot of business on the agenda for the first meeting of the new Melksham Without Parish Council on Monday 12th May, following the Election period.
Cllr John Glover was elected Chair, and Cllr David Pafford was elected Vice Chair, both returning to the role, with unanimous votes.
Cllr Mark Blackham and Cllr Martin Haffenden were co-opted on to the council in the Bowerhill Ward; and Cllr Chris Griffiths and Cllr Tony Hemmings were co-opted in the Beanacre, Shaw, Whitley and Blackmore Ward.
No chance for photos yet, so here is the moment when they left their visitor seats and joined the meeting after being voted on to the council.
A warm welcome to Melksham Without Parish Council......
